What’s new in the Samsung One UI 4.1 update?

Samsung One UI 4.1 adds a few more features to already feature-packed software. The One UI 4.1-based Google Duo has a live sharing feature that allows you to share your screen with another party while you are on call. This feature works with apps like YouTube, Samsung Gallery, Google Maps, and Samsung Notes.

The Expert Raw app will finally hit those devices with an update. It is a unique camera app that gives users more control over their photos. This is for those who want to take their photography to the next level.

With the more enhanced Object eraser, you can now easily remove not only distracting objects in the background but also shadows thrown on the subject or even reflections on the windows. All you can do by simply tap the ‘Erase shadows’ or ‘Erase reflections’ button when you want to remove them from a photo.

The software includes other changes such as automatic image adjustments, quick sharing, and a Grammarly-based keyboard. If you have a qualified Samsung device, you should pay attention to this latest update in the coming weeks.

With Snapchat support, you can experience the features of Samsung cameras in the Snapchat app. Night shooting is supported and it automatically switches to ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lenses according to zoom changes and provides clearer images, supporting space zoom shooting at greater magnifications. It also provides a scene recognition function using AI, so you can record customized images.

Change the mode position

Made some changes to the Camera Mode status from OneUI 4.1. The ‘Single Take’ mode moved to the ‘More’ menu and ‘AR Doodle’ mode to ‘AR Zone’ menu. If you enable the camera settings, the mode will change, so please do not make a mistake.

Samsung brings huge energy-saving opportunity to New York

New York became the first US state to bring retail consumer rebates for appliances under the Inflation Reduction Act. Applauding the move, Samsung launched a huge energy-saving opportunity for the residents of New York.

Samsung started offering up-front discounts to consumers statewide through New York’s IRA HEAR program. Consumers can now access IRA’s Home Electrification and Appliance Rebate (HEAR) program.

  • Save up to $840 on Samsung’s innovative ENERGY STAR products, including laundry appliances like heat pump dryers and all-in-one combo washers + heat pump dryers.

OpenAI eyes AI integration on Samsung phones like Apple Intelligence

TheInformation (via Reuters) reported that OpenAI has recently discussed powering AI features on Samsung-made devices. It seems the ChatGPT-maker wishes an AI partnership with Samsung to expand its reach in multiple folds.

The company is considering developing a web browser to rival Google’s Chrome. OpenAI recently introduced its search engine called SearchGPT. It is available to limited users alongside internal testers and strategic partners.

Samsung and Google’s close partnership doesn’t need any elaboration. The friendship isn’t limited to services, as both firms work across an ecosystem. However, it doesn’t stop Samsung from partnering with OpenAI in favor of better service.
