One UI 4.1 is now the latest version of Samsung’s custom skin on top of the Android 12 operating system. The brand new Galaxy S22 series smartphones are exclusively pre-loaded with the latest One UI 4.1 software, which brings additional improvements and some new features over the One UI 4.0.

Smart Widgets
Samsung One UI 4.1 comes with added tools inside the home screen Widgets section namely – “Smart Widgets”. This new edition includes a total of three new widgets for the home screen, offering even more intuitive and user-friendly experiences with your Galaxy.
The main focus of the new Samsung One UI 4.1’s Smart Widgets function 4.1 is to combine a handful of widgets in a single format in order to save space on the phone’s home screen. At the same time, users will get even more information and accessibility of the specific app in just a single widget.

Users can place all the above-mentioned (Samsung Weather, Samsung Notes and Samsung Calendar) Smart Widgets on a single page of the home screen. In addition, the One UI 4.1 brings Smart Widgets customization options such as background color, resizing, opacity adjustment, and dark mode compatibility.

Widgets are small apps that let users access some functions of a specific app in order to provide information and convenient access directly on your Home screen. When it comes to Samsung, you can easily Add widgets on the home screen by just pinching out the screen and selecting the Widgets option.

Samsung unveiled the new One UI 4.1 alongside the Galaxy S22 series devices at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event. This new One UI variant has started rolling to select Android 12-based Galaxy devices starting March 15, however, more Galaxy phones will join the party soon.
