Samsung One UI 4.1 Clipboard Access Alert

The ‘clipboard access alert’ feature comes built-in with One UI 4.1 based on the Android 12 operating system. Basically, a clipboard access warning, appeared whenever an app tried to peek into your recent copy and paste history.

Well, originally this feature is introduced by Apple for iOS 14, iPhone owners will remember that they received a message saying “Safari has just been pasted from the clipboard” when copying text from, for example, Notes and pasting it into Google Search in Safari.

Meanwhile, Samsung users are now able to use this feature all you need to activate this clipboard feature which comes ‘off’ by default. After activating this feature every time any application sticks something from your clipboard, you will be informed by this great, hard-to-miss message.

This feature is good for the safety of your device proposes, being informed about this is definitely a good thing. But, needless to say, it is recommended that you never copy and paste your password.

In addition, use Samsung’s standard keyboard, which is supposed to be reliable, and enter your stuff manually. Instead of this, you can use a trusted password manager – Google’s Bake In Password Manager or Knox-compatible and more.

How activate clipboard access alter in Galaxy Smartphone:

  • Open Settings on your smartphone
  • Go to Privacy
  • Look for the toggle “Alert when clipboard accessed
