Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has launched just a couple of months ago and rumors about its successors have already started surfing online. Back in January, reports claimed that 2022’s Galaxy A-series phones could equip MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip. Meanwhile, it seems that not only the A-series device but the Samsung Galaxy S22 FE will also be powered by Dimensity 9000.

According to a Weibo tipster – It’s Fat, the flagship Dimensity 9000 chipset is likely to appear with a mid-range Samsung smartphone. Although he didn’t provide the exact name, he said it’s either the Galaxy S22 FE or the Galaxy A53 Pro.

But since the older Galaxy A-series doesn’t have any Pro variant, the existence of the Galaxy A53 Pro is quite doubtful. So, it is probably more likely that Samsung will be using the Dimensity 9000 in the Galaxy S22 FE.

The Dimensity 9000 processor is one of the fastest chipsets on the market at the moment. Still, using it in a Galaxy Fan Edition is a departure for the company. The Galaxy S21 FE uses the same Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 chipsets as the other Galaxy S21 series phones and this is the specialty of these devices.

Further, the tipster also mentions that the Dimensity 9000-powered phone will feature a 4500mAh battery. This is the same battery capacity as the other Fan Editions – Galaxy S20 FE and S21 FE.
