Samsung Galaxy A53 launched in India: Specifications, Price and Availability

Samsung introduced the three new Galaxy A series smartphones such as Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53, and Galaxy A73 smartphones at the Galaxy A Event last week. The company has now launched the all-new Galaxy A53 smartphone in Indian markets.

Samsung Galaxy A53 comes in two storage variants including 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage as well as four colors, such as Black, Light Blue, Peach, and White. However, it’s launched at a slightly higher cost than the last year’s Galaxy A52.

Samsung Galaxy A53 India Price:

• 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage: INR 34,499 (around $454)
• 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage: INR 35,999 (around $473)

It is now available for pre-bookings till March 31. Interested customers can pre-book it through Samsung.com and other online and offline retail stores.

It should also be noted that Samsung is offering INR 3,000 cashback on the pre-bookings. At the same time, those who purchase it via Samsung Finance+ will get a cashback of Rs 2,000.

Samsung Galaxy A53 Specs:

The Galaxy A53 offers the experience built on the 5G Exynos 1280 chipset, an important note given that Samsung uses Qualcomm chips on most 5G phones in the United States.

It comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging – just like some of Samsung’s recently launched, the charger is not included with the A53. Samsung claims two days of battery life in “normal” use. The phone also has an IP67 water resistance rating and is made of recycled plastic material.

You’re basically talking with a 6.5-inch 120Hz display, which is a 1080p SuperAMOLED panel, which Samsung claims can touch a maximum of 800 knots of brightness. By comparison, the Pixel 4a 5G has a maximum of 650 nits and the Galaxy A52 can handle almost 700 nits. That display also has an embedded fingerprint sensor.

In the camera section, there are four sensors on the back of the phone. Primary 64MP camera, 12MP ultraviolet, 5MP depth sensor, and 5MP macro camera. On the front, the hole-punch cutout features a 32MP selfie camera.
