While the Galaxy S22 Ultra may be the most expensive of Samsung’s latest flagship offers, buyers are still choosing it among the two affordable lineups. The device became Samsung’s best-selling smartphone in wireless carrier stores in February, according to a new report from Wave7 Research.

Talking about the other two devices the Vanilla Galaxy S22 was the second bestseller, the Galaxy S22+ was the third bestseller. Unfortunately, the report does not break down every model. The Galaxy S22 series is selling better than its predecessor.

According to the report, about 69 percent of store representatives surveyed said that Galaxy S22 phones were seeing more demand than the Galaxy S21 trio last year. Samsung has introduced the ultra models of its Galaxy S series flagships in 2020, starting with the Galaxy S20 series.

It launched the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra and will follow them in 2021 with the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. In two years, the base model became a bestseller. And since there have been no note phones since 2020, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is just in time for existing users to upgrade their devices.

As the report suggests, the Vanilla model was a bestseller, those who did not go for the S21 series bought the Galaxy Note 20 in 2020, according to the report. Therefore the Note series has a unique number of fans. Samsung discontinued it in 2021 and is now filling the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The high demand for the Galaxy S22 Ultra has boosted overall sales of the Galaxy S22 series.
