Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger also expressed his interest in building Nvidia’s next-generation chips. He said Intel is “thrilled for their interest in using our foundry capabilities.”
Samsung Electronics is very competent and capable being watching this. As we know it is capable of producing sub-5 nanometer chips at the moment and has already introduced its plan to introduce a 3-nm chip in 2022.
Let us see in future days how these two heavyweights are going to perform as they have also announced for building the 3-nm chips in their foundry separately. Because Samsung and TSMC are also here already capturing and progressing with 30% and 50% market share.
