With the launch of the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung has not only released its new smartphone it also brings its latest One UI version 4.1 to its users. With several notable improvements, One UI has long allowed you to select vibration patterns for incoming calls and notifications and One UI 4.1 adds a new ringtone synchronization.

Samsung One UI 4.1-based Sync Vibrations with a ringtone

Samsung One UI 4.1 now allows you to fully synchronize the vibration motor with any ringtone you set for calls and general notifications. This is a nice extra touch that works even when your phone is in silent mode.

So instead of the usual format, you get analog vibration that is coordinated with the audio waveform. In case of a phone call, it will help you to locate the call in plain SMS or email.

That’s not all because you can play less sound on your galaxy which intensifies the vibration so that you do not miss the incoming calls. It uses a lower tone to effectively rumble the internal speaker so that the vibration is more intense in your pocket or on the surface.

It is reminiscent of the dynamic vibration feature used in any other Android smartphones hardware, which enhances the experience while watching video content. In this example, it is used instead for notifications.
