WhatsApp to soon add end-to-end encryption indicators on your call history
In a recent development, WhatsApp had begun releasing a new beta update through Google Play Beta Program. It comes with a built version 2.22.8.7, which is currently rolling out to some beta testers.
The new beta update adds indicators for end-to-end encryption at the bottom of your call history page. Meanwhile, this feature is under development so you should wait for its stable released or can join the beta program.

As the screenshot mentioned via WabetInfo, there will be new notifications at the bottom of your call history, indicating that your phone has been encrypted from point to end so that everyone except WhatsApp and Meta can listen to it.
WhatsApp is definitely going to introduce the same footer at the bottom of your chat list and status updates, but at the moment there is no proof. Notable, this beta update is to standardize your call security.
If you don’t know, end-to-end encryption is a way of secure communication that prevents third parties from retrieving data, when it is sent by an end system or device, letters to others. The information is hidden in the sender’s system or device and only the recipient intends to delete it.
