Samsung showcase immersive cinematic experience with The Wall display in Bangkok

On March 29, Samsung Electronics announced a new partnership with The Forestius through MQDC – the largest property development project in Thailand, combining forests with residential and commercial areas.

Samsung lights up Bangkok landmark with The Wall!

Through this partnership, Samsung will supply its cutting-edge display technology to showcase the most immersive cinematic experience to The Forest Pavilion in the middle of the project at The Wall in Bangkok. The Wall is the world’s first modular microLed technology that offers excellent definition without limit on size, resolution or form.

The innovation allows for a 360-degree theater in The Forest Pavilion, allowing spectators to enjoy a kind of visual experience. The Wall high-definition, MicroLED display measures 38.707m x 3.628m (126.99ft x 11.90ft) for a total surface area of ​​140.43m² (1,511.18ft²).

The video screen is made up of 384 cabinets, with a resolution of 46,080 x 4,320 pixels (or about 200 million pixels) arranged in a row to create a single 360-degree continuous image on all four sides.

The ‘Chamber of Secrets’ is the highlight of The Forest Pavilion, providing viewers with a stunning wrap-around experience with vivid images in bright, natural colors, enhanced by The Wall’s breakthrough in industry-leading image quality an engine that delivers real life images.

Samsung’s The Wall is the only innovation that will help provide a mesmerizing experience by presenting The Forest Pavilion in 360 degree Animated Theater, which currently serves as a sales gallery and will soon serve its residents and will be converted into a Common Learning Center.
