Launched back in March last year, Samsung Galaxy A72 smartphone was shipped with Android 11-based One UI 3.1 operating system. Earlier this year, the company had released the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 upgrade for the Galaxy A72 consumers.

While other Galaxy devices have started getting the One UI 4.1 features inspired by the Galaxy S22 series, the company has not yet released this firmware to the Galaxy A72 phones. Meanwhile, Samsung has just seeded the March 2022 Android security patch to the Galaxy A72 devices.

Identified via release number A725FXXU4BVC1, the Samsung Galaxy A72 March 2022 security patch is currently rolling out in Russia. It enhances the overall system security as well as reliability by bringing fixes to over 50 CVE items from Google.

One UI 4.1

Introduced alongside the Galaxy S22 series, the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 software system has reached a lot of Galaxy devices so far The new iteration brings additional features such as customizable RAM Plus and further enhances the usability of existing ones like the Colour Palette.

How to download March 2022 patch

Simply, open the Apps screen and tap the Settings icon, inside this, scroll down and hit the Software updates section. Once done, tap on the Download and install button, if your phone has fetched a new firmware update by Samsung’s server.
