Samsung Always On Display or AOD is a feature available on several Galaxy devices that allows you to check the time, date, notifications, missed calls, and more. when the screen is turned off. With the One UI interface, you can do a lot more with AOD.

With One UI 4.1, the company brings a bunch of new features and improvements over One UI 4.0. However, the One UI 4.1 changelog doesn’t mention anything related to the AOD, but the Korean tech giant has significantly improved the Always On Display functionality on Galaxy devices.
