Samsung captured the stage at ‘iF Design Awards 2022’, 3 Gold Medals and 71 Awards

The ‘iF Design Award began in 1953 under the auspices of the German International Forum, which was awarded in 9 categories including Product, Package, Communication, Concept, Interior, Architecture, Service Design, User Experience, and User Interface.

Samsung Electronics received a total of 71 awards, including 3 gold medals at the International Forum Design Award 2022 at an international design concept in Germany.

The Vice President of Samsung Electronics Design Management Center, Jinsoo Kim said, ” It is important to design a design that combines changing value and innovative technologies.”

Samsung Electronics won the Gold Award for its portable screen ‘The Free Style‘, the foldable phone ‘Galaxy  Z Flip 3‘, and the wireless vacuum cleaner ‘Bespoke Slim‘, out of over 11,000 entries from 57 countries. Samsung was selected for 71 awards and won all of them.

The Galaxy Buds 2 also received an award for the product category. Other than products

  • Samsung One UI 4 – A mobile phone design interface.
  • Galaxy Upcycling for home – Recycles unused Galaxy phone as home IoT device to build a smart home also selected for the award in the Service Design category.
