Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S10 getting March 2022 security update in the US

Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone owners have started getting the April 2022 Android security patch update in some European markets. Whereas, the corresponding device users in the United States are only installing the last month’s security update – March 2022 patch.

You can identify the Samsung Galaxy S10 March 2022 update via the One UI build version G973U1UES6HVD1 in the US, while the Galaxy S10e and S10+ update come with G970U1UES6HVD1 and G975U1UES6HVD1.

Although this update doesn’t come with any major changes or new features and only brings the March 2022 Android security patch that enhances system security and reliability, we recommend you download it.

It will protect your phone from bugs and viruses as well as will improve the device performance in order to provide users with seamless performance. On the other hand, Samsung’s March 2022 security patch update comes with fixes for 62 vulnerabilities, exploits, and threats including 2 critical, 29 high, and 19 moderate levels of CVEs from Google and Samsung.

It should be mentioned that this update is currently released for carrier-unlocked models in the US. While the carrier-locked device owners are yet to receive this update.
