Starting last month, Samsung delivered the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update to numerous Galaxy smartphones and tablets. While many device owners are still waiting to taste the new custom OS, Galaxy A12 seems to be among the next smartphones to grab it.

Launched back in November 2020, Samsung Galaxy A12 is a famous budget smartphone that arrived with Android 10 OS out of the box. The device later received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update and now the checkfirm has detected Android 12-based One UI 4.1 for the same.

According to the information, the update holds the One UI build version A125FXXU2BVB3. It’s testing for Indian users as the CSC code of this release is INS which belongs to the Indian unit. However, it is not necessary that the update should be released in India first.

Moreover, there is no confirmed date for the release of this update at this time. But this test shows that the company will not take much time to release the Samsung Galaxy A12 Android 12 update. Want to know what’s new with One UI 4.1 based on Android 12? Click here.

While it’s been a long when Samsung started to deliver the Android 12 update to its devices, it will be the first Android 12 update for the Galaxy A12, which means skipping One UI 4.0, it’s directly taking a jump to One UI 4.1.

Also, this will be the last major Android OS for the devices, according to Samsung’s software update policy. After this, the A12 will only be eligible for security patch updates for 2 years.
