Samsung’s S22 Ultra is a legendary smartphone that features the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8th generation chipset, which has superiorly performed and defeated iPhone 13 and has ranked as the fastest smartphone in North America with 5G speeds.

The platform ‘inews24‘ revealed the results disclosed by the firm Ulka, which operates the speed test site, has performed the 5G speed test on various flagship devices and found that Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra had the fastest average 5G download speed of 116.33 Mbps, which is even more than that of Apple’s iPhone that comes to 97.52 to 99.47 Mbps.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 was in second place with 100.83 Mbps, followed by Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra with 91.26Mbps in fifth place. Both the variants of the Apple iPhone 13, the Pro, and Pro Max anyhow managed to secure the third and fourth position.

The IT and media experts analyzed that this result came because the modem performance of the Qualcomm Snapdragon eighth-generation chipset adopted by the Galaxy S22 Ultra is far superior to that of the iPhone 13.

The modem that is included in the first generation of Snapdragon 8 is the X65 5G Modem, on the other hand, the Modem used by iPhone 13 is Qualcomm’s previous-generation product, referred to as X60.

If we compare the two devices using the same generation processors the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G surpassed Apple’s iPhone 13 Pro Max which features the same X60 Modem.

Looking at this Apple could possibly replan to have X65 Modem in the iPhone 14 series of smartphones, which is scheduled to be unveiled last this year.

According to us, this will surely help Samsung to usher in new heights, after breaking the record of selling more than one million S22 smartphones on its home ground. Now have more possibility to create more records on the American ground.
