Samsung develops some of the best mobile camera sensors which are used by almost all brands of smartphones. In the last 2 years, the company has launched many large-size camera sensors, some of which are ISOCELL GN1 and ISOCELL GN2.

This year also Samsung created a new and bigger ISOCELL camera sensor named ISOCELL GNV. This sensor will reportedly be used in the upcoming Vivo X80 Pro+’s primary camera that features a gimbal-like OIS system.

According to the reports, ISOCELL GNV is custom-made for Vivo phones and is likely a slightly modified version of Samsung’s ISOCELL GN1. The sensor is sized 1/1.3-inch. Also, it’s said to be a 50MP sensor, similar to the ISOCELL GN1, ISOCELL GN2, and ISOCELL GN5.

Further, the upcoming Vivo X80 Pro+ equips a three rear camera setup that consists of a 48MP/50MP ultrawide angle camera, a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and OIS, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and OIS.

Besides photography, the device is also capable to record 8K videos using the primary camera and up to 4K 60fps videos using the rest of its camera. Whereas, on the front, it’s reportedly having a 44MP shooter for selfies and video chats.

Additionally, the phone also uses the company’s own Image Singal Processor named V1+ This new chipset brings 16% higher brightness and 12% better white balance to images in low-light conditions. While the main parts of an image can see up to 350% better brightness for less noise and better colors.
