Samsung has recently released a new firmware update to the Galaxy Watch 4 devices in the US. In the same case, Verizon published the April 2022 firmware update changelog for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic models.

It was rumored that the Galaxy Watch 4 lineup had finally received the Google Assistant support with a software update in the US. However, various sources and even Verizon confirmed that the anticipated Google Assistant support is still unavailable for the latest Samsung smartwatch lineup.

Meanwhile, we have the changelog of Verizon’s Galaxy Watch 4 April 2022 firmware update for the US models. It mentions a new feature that allows users to create backup and restore through the Samsung Smart Switch app. It’s quite useful for the consumers that are wondering to pair their watches with any other smartphone.

Adding to this, the changelog further mentions that the Samsung Health app has added a new button entitled Measure, to the body composition target notification. It’s noteworthy that the update has been initially released last week, and expanding to more units in the country.
