Samsung is pushing a new software update for the famous Galaxy A52 5G smartphones in South American markets. Although this update doesn’t bring any new features or major changes, it only installs the April 2022 Android security patch.

This Samsung Galaxy A52 April 2022 update will improve the security and stability of the system in order to enhance the device’s performance. It further prevents your phone from bugs and viruses as well as reduces system lagging.

Besides these, the official changelog doesn’t mention anything, while the official support page mentions fixes for 88 privacy and security-related exploits. These include 27 high and 18 moderate levels of CVEs from Google and Samsung.

Previously, the Galaxy A52 5G received the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update that brought many few and improved features for various purposes. A revamped color palette, customizable RAM Plus, Google Duo Live Sharing, Grammarly-powered keyboard, enhanced quick share, and others are among the main highlights of the update.

Furthermore, the April 2022 update is currently rolling out in Brazil. However, it’s expected that the company won’t take much time to expand the update to users in the world. As of now, you can identify the firmware update via One UI build version A526BXXS1CVD3.

If you live in Brazil and haven’t yet received the update notification, you can check the update manually by heading to the Settings of your phone. From here, tap Software update and click Download and install. Now follow the on-screen prompt to get access to the latest changes.
