Samsung Galaxy A21s collecting April 2022 security update

Samsung started rolling out the April 2022 Android security patch update for the Galaxy A21s smartphone users. This update mainly brings improvements to the security and stability of your device’s system to provide you with seamless performance.

At the same time, it also brings fixes to a total of 88 vulnerabilities, exploits, and threats. However, the official support page mentions 27 high and 18 moderate levels of CVEs fixes. These vulnerabilities are related to improper access controls in S Secure, Samsung Contacts app, Knox Manage, StorageManagerService, One UI Home, Samsung DeX Home, and more.

Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy A21s April 2022 update comes with One UI build version A217MUBS9CVD1 and a package size of around 144MB. Right now, it is released in Brazil, however, it will reach other countries’ users in the coming days or weeks.

If you are a Galaxy A21s user and live in Brazil, you might have received the notification to install the fresh software update. In case you haven’t, navigate Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install to check and download it.

Furthermore, the installation procedure may take some time to complete the package unpacking. So, keep patience and let the phone install this software update. Once, installed the phone will reboot and start initial app optimizations.

Samsung Galaxy A21s Android 12 One UI 4 update underdevelopment:

Last week CheckFirm detected the Android 12 update for Galaxy A21s smartphones. The update holds the One UI build version A217FXXU8CVC2 and is being tested in India as per the mentioned CSC code. Although it can’t be clarified if this is One UI 4.0 or One UI 4.1, chances are high that One UI will be 4.1.
