Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G smartphone users have started getting the May 2022 Android security patch update. This update is released for the carrier-locked models in the United States and is available on Sprint and T-Mobile networks in the country.
This fresh update doesn’t bring any new features or noticeable changes. However, it comes with better system security and stability as well as reduced app crashing to let you operate your phone without any troubles.

Besides these, the released Samsung’s May patch detail mentions fixes for multiple issues and exploits from Google and Samsung including 7 Critical, 23 High, and 3 Moderate levels of CVEs to boost the overall device functionality.

You can identify the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 May 2022 update via the One UI build version N970USQS7HVD1. Whereas, the Galaxy Note 10+ and Galaxy Note 10+ 5G update comes with firmware version N975USQS7HVD1 and N976USQS5GVD2 respectively.
How to download manually?
If you are a Sprint or T-Mobile-locked Galaxy Note 10 user in the US, you can download this software update by visiting the Settings. From here tap on System updates and then Download and Install.
Wait for the phone to check for available updates, finally, tap on Download now button and bring it to your phone. Although this upgrade procedure won’t replace or remove any of the corresponding data from your smartphone, it’s recommended to backup your important data for extra safety measures.
