Samsung Galaxy Fold May 2022 security update reaches the US
Recently, Samsung released the May 2022 Android security patch update for the first-generation Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Flip smartphone users in Latin American markets. Now the company is expanding the Samsung Galaxy Fold May 2022 update in the US.
Released back in 2019, the Galaxy Fold came pre-installed with Android 9 OS and some other latest tech of its age. The device received an Android 12-based One UI 4 update earlier this year that brought many new features and customization options to provide this smartphone user somewhat similar features to this generation’s Galaxy devices.

Moving on, the latest update for the corresponding devices come with improved system security and stability alongside fixing various bugs and issues that affect the users’ experience. According to Samsung’s May 2022 security patch details, the update includes 7 Critical, 23 High, and 3 Moderate levels of CVEs from Google and Samsung.

Other than these, the official changelog for the update doesn’t mention any new features or major changes. However, you might notice some minor changes and improvements after you finish installing it on your phone.
Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy Fold May 2022 update holds the One UI build version F900U1UES6HVD2 in the US. It should be mentioned that the update is available for carrier-unlocked models in the country while other users will soon get access to it.
