Initial Story – April 25

Last August, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic premium smartwatches. Pre-equipped with Samsung One UI Watch, based on Wear OS 3, the Galaxy Watch 4 series is officially confirmed to receive the Google Assistant support. But, when?

So finally, it looks like the Korean tech giant is too close to rolling out the Google Assistant support to the Galaxy Watch 4 consumers with a firmware update.

In a recent development, Samsung Spain published an ad video of the Galaxy Watch 4 showing off the consumer is using the Google Assistant by calling “Hey Google”.

Right now, the Galaxy Watch 4 has Samsung’s own developed Bixby assistant, however, the man hasn’t used it in the ad published by Samsung Spain. Instead, he called “Hey Google” to play YouTube Music, well, you can see the official video ad at the bottom of this page.

As of now, we don’t have an exact release date of Google Assistant support for the Galaxy Watch 4 models. However, Samsung’s preparations hint at its imminent debut to millions of consumers across the planet. Meanwhile, Google has recently said that the update is under development for the Galaxy Watch 4 line.
