Google started rolling out a new update to the Android Auto app that comes with version number 7.7.1219 Beta. This release is said to be included fixes for some issues that restricted some Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra users from connecting their smartphones to their cars.

To be mentioned, the Android Auto 7.7 update rollout is happening through the Google Play Store, to a limited number of consumers. If you are on the Stable channel, you have to wait until the company begins its Public rollout, however, you can get the latest Android Auto through APKMirror.

Following the launch, some Galaxy S22 consumers reported having connectivity issues with their car’s head unit (Android Auto). Day by day, the threads got increased mentioning the Android Auto connection issues with the Galaxy S22 series phones.

Users claimed that when they connect their Galaxy S22 with their car, it starts regular charging instead of connecting to a car infotainment system. In the meantime, some users found through trial and error that some cables managed to handle the Android Auto connection without issue.
