Samsung One UI 4.1: Game Booster, optimize your gaming!

Samsung One UI 4.1 has proved to be improving itself, in the last discussion we discussed the Game Launcher, Game Booster is directly related to it, and you are going to find it in the launcher settings.

Game booster lets you play games in a better and more optimized environment. You can use Game Booster while playing different games on your One UI 4.1 smartphone.

How to open a Game Booster?

To open the Game Booster you need to follow these steps:

• Tap on the plus sign, or the four quad dots available at the navigation bar
• If the navigation bar is hidden, drag upward from the bottom of the screen to show it (This will appear only when you have set the navigation bar to use swipe gestures)
• open the notification panel of the application, Tap to open Game Booster.

Four to five functions are available here, which are ultimately different and facilitate the gamer with outperforming experience.

• First is the lock icon, it helps us to lock the touch screen, while the game is being played. To unlock the screen you can drag and touch the lock icon, anywhere on the screen.
• Second is the hiding button icon, it hides the navigation bar on the screen, and will be back if you tap on the bar again.
• The third one is the capture icon, which enables you to capture screenshots while playing the game and share them with someone, with whom you are competing.
• The fourth one is the recording icon which helps you to record the gaming session. (To stop the recording you have to tap on the solid square tile)
• The fifth one is setting the icon, here you can configure the settings for the Game Booster.

Some modes are available at the top of the screen, displayed on top of the game launcher screen are Priority mode and Monitoring temperature or Monitoring memory mode. Let us discuss them.

Priority mode: Set the device to block the incoming calls and all the notifications except for alarms to prevent your games from being disturbed.

Monitoring temperature/Monitoring memory: This function facilitates you to set the device to automatically adjust the volume or video frame rate, So you can prevent your smartphone from overheating. It also stops the apps from running in the background, in the case when not enough memory is available.

I am going to tell you one more interesting and hidden feature, which many of us must not have known till now.

How to open the Game Booster Panel from the navigation bar?

When your navigation bar is set to Swipe Gestures,

• On the Game Booster panel to open it from the navigation bar, Tap on the settings icon.
• Select Block during games
• Click on Navigation Gestures, and switch to activate it.

Launch your apps in a pop-up window while playing games?

Facilitating more, you can launch your applications in a pop-up window while playing games. For that, you need to Tap on Plus Sign, which I have discussed above. Then you need to select the app of your choice from the apps list.
