Debuted alongside the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung‘s One UI 4.1 brings a bundle of amazing and useful features, Smart Widgets being one of them. It combines a handful of widgets into a single format to save space on the home screen of the phone.

As of now, a bunch of Galaxy devices has been updated to the latest One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 in various regions, and the company will soon be completing its One UI 4.1 rollout for eligible devices. Even after upgrading to One UI 4.1 software, the new Smart Widget feature is not available on many Galaxy smartphones.

If we’re talking about Samsung flagship smartphones, Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 do not have the Smart Widgets feature, while these devices have already received the One UI 4.1 update long ago. The reason for the unavailability of this feature is not yet clear, but we are expecting it to be available at least for all flagships.

When will Galaxy Fold and Flip smartphones get Smart Widget Feature?

Recently, a community moderator stated that the new firmware update is under preparation for the Galaxy Fold/Z Fold 2/Z Fold 3 and Z Flip/Z Flip 3 foldable phones.
