Samsung One UI 4.1 Face Recognition or Unlock is the most interesting and amazing feature since it has been provided with the user interface. The smartphone user can set the device to unlock the screen by recognizing their face.
How to Register your face?
For face recognition, you need to take care of some important things, such as registering your photo indoors and out of direct sunlight.
- On the Settings screen, tap on Biometrics and security
- Then jump to face recognition
- Now, read the on-screen instructions and tap on continue
- Click to set a screen lock method
Unlock the screen with your face?
Now, after registering your face you are ready to unlock the screen by your face. Instead of using a pattern, PIN, and password, you should use this method as it is the most convenient of them all.
- Go to the Settings screen, tap on Biometric and security
- Now select the Face recognition option
- Then unlock the screen with the present unlock method
- Click on the Face unlock switch to activate it.
Now, after registering your face, and opting for face recognition. You are ready to unlock your device. Look at the locked screen with your face in front of it. Surprise, now you have successfully unlocked your phone through face recognition.
Tips if face unlock does not work?
- If you are unlocking the screen with your face, and it is not working, tap on remove the face, to remove your registered face and register your face again.
- To enhance face recognition, tap Add alternative appearance to enhance the recognition. Add your alternative appearance here.
The Samsung smartphone user needs to take some precautions while unlocking, as this is a less secure method that a Pattern, PIN, or Password, as the device can be unlocked by someone or something that looks like your image.
Remember that logging in for the first time to the device after switching it on for the first time your face unlock will not work.

Apple collaborated with OpenAI to power Apple Intelligence features. The ChatGPT maker continues to create obstacles for Google. In a recent move, OpenAI discussed a potential AI partnership with Samsung.
TheInformation (via Reuters) reported that OpenAI has recently discussed powering AI features on Samsung-made devices. It seems the ChatGPT-maker wishes an AI partnership with Samsung to expand its reach in multiple folds.
The company is considering developing a web browser to rival Google’s Chrome. OpenAI recently introduced its search engine called SearchGPT. It is available to limited users alongside internal testers and strategic partners.
Samsung x OpenAI
Samsung and Google’s close partnership doesn’t need any elaboration. The friendship isn’t limited to services, as both firms work across an ecosystem. However, it doesn’t stop Samsung from partnering with OpenAI in favor of better service.
As the AI phone market is growing rapidly, OpenAI may innovate further. Google doesn’t lag, but there’s still room for a potential alliance. Apple Intelligence-like features might be deployed on Galaxy phones after Samsung’s partnership.
