Samsung One UI 5.0 beta update is said to be released around July but 2 betas of Android 13 have already gone live which suggests that the new generation operating system will come with many new and improved features.

One of the Android 13 features that will make its way to Samsung Galaxy users through the One UI 5.0 update is a new clipboard popup. Samsung One UI 5.0 new clipboard popup will provide more context about what you copied and allow you to edit it with ease.

The new clipboard pops up in the lower-left corner of the display when you copy text, images, or other content to the system clipboard. For the image content, the pop-up shows a tiny image preview, and if it’s text, it displays the first few words.

For text, the Samsung One UI 5.0 new clipboard popup has a straightforward text-editing box to correct any errors before copying it. It also has smart chips to identify URLs, addresses, and phone numbers. For example, if you have copied any URL, it will show you a button option to open it in Google Chrome.

Meanwhile, for images, tapping the edit button opens up the markup box that lets you crop, highlight, or add text to whatever you’re copying. However, you only have around five seconds to fix it because the popup will disappear at a specific time.

It might seem a simple addition but it makes a lot of sense to the core Android experience, especially when one is copying text without inspecting its content. It doesn’t add any extra steps to the process, you can completely ignore it, and nothing will change in your existing workflow.
