Read notifications faster
With the large Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra display, notifications are now easier to access. You no longer have to swipe down from the top edge of the display to read the notifications. You can simply swipe down from anywhere on the home screen.
To enable it:
- On the home screen, pinch two fingers together to go to the home screen menu.
- Tap Settings.
- And toggles Swipe down for notification panel on or off.
You can also quickly turn on “Rotate into landscape mode” so that the home screen will rotate when you use the phone in landscape mode.
Use all apps in Split Screen

- Select a photo with text on it.
- Select text.
- Tap the ‘T’ in the menu.
Capture sharp photos of moving objects
The Galaxy S22 Ultra’s camera is one of the best smartphone cameras in the world. One complaint we often hear is that capturing a moving object is shaky. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a fix for it.
- Open the Camera.
- Pull the trigger down and away.
This forces the camera to use a shorter exposure time. If you pull down and hold down the shutter button, you can take multiple shots and choose the best picture. The picture is now, of course, darker than usual. But you can balance by:
- Heading over to the Gallery.
- Tap the Pencil >> Then to the Sun.
Here you can adjust the image in nine different parameters and thus get more brightness and details out again.
Focus optimization and detail optimization
