Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 unpairing from phones, Google Assistant might be the reason
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro are some of the most famous and feature-rich smartwatches present on the market. Recently the devices received the Google Assistant feature, which was long-awaited by users.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 4 users are complaining about battery drain and low detection accuracy issues with their watches. This is not enough, the watch has a significant issue that some users have been dealing with.

Many users of the watch have taken social media platforms to reveal that their watch 4 is not connecting with their phones. Even after trying to re-pair several times, there’s no success as none of the devices recognize each other. Customers are saying that when clicking on ‘add’, it asks to pair the watch like it is pairing to a new phone.

The reason behind the issue is not clear yet. Some users say that the issue has occurred suddenly, whereas, some report that this issue is taking place after installing the Google Assistant feature on their watches.
They believe that they’ve had to perform a hard reset on their watches to get through the problem, which is really scary for those without a backup to load (via Android Police).
Further, Wear OS and Android Wear watches haven’t provided the fastest experience in the past while using Google Assistant. And, it’s disappointing to hear about performance issues affecting the service here on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series.
