The company is expected to start the Beta Program of One UI 7 this month, while the new flagship phones will be unveiled early next year. Recently, two different sources revealed when Samsung could launch the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra in the US.
MaxJambor, through his sketchy X post, revealed that Samsung could hold the Unpacked on January 22, 2025, in the US, where Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra will be unveiled. The input aligns with the Korean media outlet’s revelation.
Product pre-reservation may start 10 to 15 days before the event takes place. After the unveiling, the global release may take place in early February. Early buyers can expect wonderful benefits apart from pre-reservation advantages.

During the Q3 earnings call, Samsung confirmed the Galaxy S25 series will be released in the first half of the next year. However, the company hasn’t revealed when it will hold the launch event for the upcoming flagship phones.
Here’s what Korean media believe
Samsung could hold a Galaxy Unpacked event on January 23, 2025. The outlet referred to the date for Korean time, and it will be different in other markets. In most countries, the launch date could fall on January 22, including the US.
It is said that the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra will be unveiled. Samsung is also speeding up its work on the Galaxy S25 Slim. The company is aiming to introduce four models of Galaxy S25 together, adding the Slim variant.
If development remains to be done, Samsung may tease the Galaxy S25 Slim during the Unpacked event. Previously, we’ve heard that the S25 Slim or SE could be announced in the second quarter (more specifically in April 2025.

Samsung Galaxy A26 first look revealed with new camera design
Samsung Galaxy A26 may feature the Galaxy A36-like brand-new camera design. The phone’s first look has now been revealed in the first set of CAD renders, courtesy of Onleaks via AndroidHeadlines.
The phone could be flat on the front and rear sides. Samsung could apply a revamped camera design on the Galaxy A26, featuring a Z Fold 6-like camera island. The Key Island is expanding to lower-end Galaxy A models for a unique identity.
Samsung is sticking to the outdated display approach with a waterdrop notch at the top. The Galaxy A35 5G upgraded with a modern punch-hole display last year. However, the A26 continues to sport the waterdrop notch display, for another year.
Notably, the bottom bezel is considerably thicker than the rest sides. The rear panel carries three cameras at the top-left corner which are aligned vertically. The new Key Island is there on the volume rockers and power key.
The Galaxy A26 could measure 164 x 77.5 x 7.7mm (9.7mm including the camera bump). That said, the display could be 6.64 inches (in diagonal) and we expect it to be a Super AMOLED panel with at least a 90Hz refresh rate.
Samsung will likely stick to a plastic frame and a plastic backplate. The SIM tray will be accessible from the top-left side of the frame. The bottom side will have a Type-C port for charging, a primary microphone, and a speaker grille.
