Delete Unwanted Apps

For doing this you need to follow certain steps, Firstly delete the apps that you do not use. it is one of the simple ways to free up storage space on your device. for that press and hold the app icon and select to uninstall.

Either, follow the steps:

Step 1:  Go to Settings and select Apps

Step 2: Choose an app that you would like to delete from the list

Step 3: Click on Uninstall, prompt will appear, whether you want to finally uninstall the selected app, Click on OK. (Apps will start to delete).

Clear cache and delete temporary files

Many times we have seen the app cache and temporary internet files create unwanted problems, this is slowly eating your phone’s capability.

Follow steps:

Step 1: Go to Settings and select Apps

Step 2: Choose an app you want to clear the cache of

Step 3: Choose Storage

Step 4: Tap Clear cache

Another way of optimizing your device is Battery and device care.

You need to be very careful at this point, not to select Clear data. This will delete all the data associated with that particular application.

Upload data to the cloud

By uploading the data to the cloud, you can manage your files without worrying about the insufficient storage space on your device. If you are unable to update the app due to the lack of storage space, try using Samsung Cloud. You can continue to back up your data with the same method.

Follow Steps:

Step 1: Go to Settings, and select Samsung Account

Step 2: Select Samsung Cloud

Step 3: Select Back up data

Step 4: choose the type of data to be uploaded to the cloud

Step 5: Select Back up now

At this stage, you need to remember that for having the auto backup you need to be logged in to the Samsung Account.

Turn on the Safe Mode

If you have appropriate space on your device and still are not able to update the phone software, you can try updating in the Safe mode. These are some of the ways which will help you to troubleshoot the software update problems and issues.
