Samsung Galaxy Note 20 gets Enhanced Night portrait mode with June 2022 patch in the US

Samsung has begun rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones in the US. This update installs June 2022 security patch along with some camera improvements to provide users with seamless performance.

According to the changelog, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 June 2022 update brings enhanced Night portrait mode to let users capture bright portraits in a low-light environment. You can also take pictures outside when it’s dark through the rear as well as the front camera.

Furthermore, Samsung’s June 2022 security patch improves the security and stability of your device. It also fixes 66 privacy and security-related issues and exploits in order to boost the overall device’s performance and maintain users’ experience.

These vulnerabilities include 5 Critical, 39 High, and 1 Moderate level of CVEs from Samsung and Google, which are related to SIM card data access, improper access control, camera access, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Samsung account, and others.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 June 2022 update is released for the T-Mobile US users at the moment. However, the company won’t take much time to spread the update all over the world. As of now, you can identify it through the One UI build version N986USQU2FVEB for Note 20 Ultra and N981USQU2FVEB for Note 20.

If your phone has received the new update, it might have notified you. In case you haven’t yet received the update notification, you can check it manually by navigating Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.
