Samsung One UI 4.1 features

Single Take

Samsung launched the Single Take feature with the Galaxy S20 series a couple of years ago. At first, it was only available for the flagship S and Note series phones. But now it is a common feature in most Samsung mid-range devices, even some budget users are applicable to use it.

When you tap on the shutter button, the Single Take feature captures multiple photos, videos, and slow motions using different filters. You can move around for up to 15 seconds to capture the moment from different angles. The AI later optimizes the shots to let you choose the best ones.

Here’s how to use Single Take:

  • Open your phone’s Camera app.
  • Select ‘Single Take‘ mode.
  • Tap on the round button to start.
  • Walk around to capture multiple dimensions of the moment.
  • When you are done, tap on the preview thumbnail.
  • To see more results, pull up.

Spot Color

The Samsung Gallery app has an amazing feature that lets you highlight the color of a photo. Spot Color is a color that is produced from a single printing plate with one matching ink color.

These colors are mainly used when just one or two solid colors are required on a page, when a color must match properly and be constant, such as with a business emblem, trademark, or others. To use it:

  • Go to the Gallery app.
  • Find and open the image that you want to edit and use spot color.
  • Now, tap the edit or pencil icon at the bottom of the screen.
  • Tap the 3 dots menu at the bottom right-hand corner and select Spot color.

Food Mode

Food Mode is specially created for food bloggers or people who usually post pictures of the dishes on social media. When you first start using it, you will find it similar to the portrait mode. It lets you pick the specific area to focus and the rest part shows some depth blur.

It is based on forms that identify food to achieve the best blur on high-end, mid-range as well as cheaper smartphones. When you use it, you won’t have to adjust the lights and colors of the dish’s picture, it automatically adjusts the coloring to make your dishes look even more delicious.

However, you will be able to adjust the depth as well as modify the color. Using it on any Samsung smartphone is very simple, here’s how:

  • Open the Camera app on your smartphone.
  • Swipe left and tap the More option.
  • Click FOOD.
  • To capture, make sure your dish is in the highlighted area.
  • To adjust the color temperature, tap the Wheel icon in the top right corner, and then adjust the slider at the bottom of the screen.
  • You can also tap Radial blur (the teardrop icon to the left of the Wheel) to blur the sides and background of your dish.
  • Finally, tap Capture.

Device Care

Battery and Device Care also provides you with all the tools you need to keep your device running smoothly, while automatically optimizing your battery, storage, memory, and security. Samsung Device Care is an app designed to provide a more enjoyable experience while using a Galaxy smartphone.

It allows you to improve performance by giving you an overview of your battery, storage, RAM, and security. Plus, it clears up some storage space on your phone and can automatically optimize it for faster and better performance.

To use it, you can simply go to Settings >> Battery and device care and then select the desired option.

Adaptive Charging

Adaptive Fast Charging is the smartest option for charging your Samsung mobile devices. Not only is it fast, but it knows when to stop charging to extend the life of your battery.

Simply charge your phone from any power outlet. Compatible with Samsung’s range of fast charging chargers, you will hardly run out of power.
