Exclusive: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 will have 4 Android and One UI upgrades

Samsung will probably launch the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones on August 10. The devices will however come pre-installed with last year’s Android 12L OS but a completely new customs OS – One UI 4.1.1 that will bring additional new features to the users.

Meanwhile, it is officially confirmed that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will get four major Android and One UI operating system upgrades and five years of security patch updates. It means these devices will get major updates till Android 16-based One UI 8 (possibly).
