Samsung has begun releasing a new software update for the Galaxy F12 smartphone users. The update installs the June 2022 Android security patch for improves the device in some aspects to provide users with its best performance.

According to the changelog, the Samsung Galaxy F12 June 2022 update brings improvements to system security and stability. At the same time, it fixes some common issues related to app crashing and system lagging.

Samsung’s June 2022 security patch details on the other hand mention fixes for 66 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities and exploits to boost the overall device performance. These include 5 Critical, 39 High, and 1 Moderate level of CVE items from Google and Samsung.

Besides these, there’s nothing that the official changelog mentions. You can identify this update through the One UI build version F127GDDS3AVF1. And to download and install it, head over to your phone’s Settings followed by Software update and Download and install options.

Samsung Galaxy F12 Android 12/Android 13

Samsung Galaxy F12 came pre-installed with Android 10-based One UI 3 OS. According to the company’s software update policy, it is eligible for two major software upgrades that are Android 12-based One UI 4 and Android 13-based One UI 5.0.

It should be mentioned that it hasn’t yet received none of the major software updates. Samsung is still rolling out the Android 12 update to some of its devices, the Galaxy F12 could receive this update anytime in the coming months.
