Samsung Galaxy Note 20 gets July 2022 security update

Samsung is now rapidly expanding the July 2022 security patch to more Galaxy devices, following the initial rollout with the Galaxy A32 LTE. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra smartphones are now receiving the July 2022 security update in Europe.

According to the information, the July 2022 security update comes with PDA release numbers N981BXXS4FVG1 and N986BXXS4FVG1 for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, respectively. Besides 5G models, the company will soon release the new patch for the LTE variants, as well.

So far, the South Korean tech giant released the July 2022 security patch to the Galaxy A32, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, and Galaxy A23 smartphones. However, the Galaxy S20 owners can also expect July 2022 security patch release in the coming days.

To check for software updates manually, just head towards your phone’s system Settings, followed by Software updates and Download and install. Since the update rollout is in the initial stage, everyone might not be able to access it for now, but you can try now.
