Samsung July 2022 security update out for carrier-locked Galaxy Note 10 in the US

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ have started to receive a July 2022 Android security patch along with a new software update in the US. This update doesn’t come with any major changes but only installs some minor improvements to maintain the users’ experience.

According to the information, the latest update comes with One UI build version N970USQS7HVF3 and  N975USQS7HVF3 for the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+. It is out for the Carrier-locked variants in the country while international users have already had their hands on the update.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 July 2022 update improves the security and reliability of the device’s system. It also fixes various privacy and security-related bugs and issues in order to enhance the overall device performance.

These vulnerabilities include 41 CVE and SVE items from Google and Samsung, which are related to the Messages app, Knoxguard lock, Wearable Manager Installer, Samsung Finder, Contacts storage, and others.

The update changelog doesn’t mention any other changes besides these. Still, we suggest you install the update as it could be responsible for your phone’s seamless performance and reduced lagging, app crashing, etc.

Furthermore, to get access to the July 2022 update on your Galaxy Note 10, go to Settings >> Software update >> Download install. Now, wait for the device to check available updates, tap Download bottom, and install the update to your phone.
