Verizon releases Galaxy S20 FE 5G July 2022 security update in the US

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G has begun receiving its latest software update as the July 2022 security patch earlier this month. Now US’s network carrier – Verizon is expanding the Galaxy S20 FE July 2022 update for its users.

However, the update doesn’t come with any new features or major changes. It only brings improvements for system security and stability in order to enhance the device performance and maintain the users’ experience.

On the other hand, the company’s July 2022 patch details mention fixes for over 50 privacy and security-related issues and exploits. These vulnerabilities include 23 CVE items, among them, 3 CVEs belong to the Critical category and 20 from the High level.

Further, the Verizon bounded Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G is getting the July 2022 security update with the One UI build version G781VSQU6FVG3. If you are one of the users eligible for the update, you can download and install it through Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.

Samsung can roll out the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta program for the Galaxy S22 series devices anytime in this month. According to the company’s software update policy, the Galaxy S20 FE is also compatible with this version of OS and will get access to all of the fresh features and improvements by the end of this year.
