Just recently, Samsung started rolling out the August 2022 security update to the Galaxy S22 series devices, and the same treatment is now being received by the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21, and Galaxy S21 Ultra.

According to the information, Samsung is bringing the latest August 2022 security patch to the Galaxy S21 series smartphones through a new software update across the European market.

Other than the system security improvements by installing the latest Android patches, Samsung is also bringing new app version updates to a handful of stock apps such as Notes, Wearable, and Wallet.

The South Korean tech giant is bringing the most up-to-date security patch, which bears build versions: G991BXXU5CVGB, G996BXXU5CVGB, and G998BXXU5CVGB for the Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra, respectively.

So far, Samsung has not released the August 2022 security patch detail, which will surely be shared in the first week of next month. Before the One UI 5 Beta, it’s an important firmware, enhancing your phone’s stability and security.
