Let’s jump right into some of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series tips and tricks that will improve your use of the phone.

Link to Windows

One of the most helpful features included with the Galaxy S22 Series of smartphones is Link to Windows. It simply transfers your phone’s notifications, files, photographs, and even apps to your Windows computer. This means you won’t need to mail yourself your files and photographs to get them to your PC, and you can receive all of your phone’s crucial notifications directly on your desktop. Interestingly enough, you can use this ability to mirror the screen of your Galaxy phone onto your computer, giving you complete access to all of your mobile apps on your computer.

Then select “Link your phone and PC.” You may now use your phone to scan the QR code on your PC. You can also log in using your Microsoft account as an alternative. To link the devices, you simply need to follow the on-screen instructions.

Control processing speeds

As we have mentioned, the new Galaxy flagships are all about giving consumers flexibility and letting them use the phone any way they want. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Series smartphones allow you the option to alter the processor speed to balance speed with battery and cooling efficiency. By default, this speed is set to “Optimised” to achieve this.

However, you can select the “High” or “Maximum” settings if you are using programs that require a little bit more and require you to push these limitations. This implies that you won’t ever have to sacrifice performance again. Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Performance if you want to explore these options. ‘Battery’ > ‘More battery settings’ > ‘Processing speed’ should be selected.

Put apps to sleep

Some background applications can become annoying and silently reduce the battery life of your smartphone without your knowledge. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Series gives users the option to categorize apps into buckets labeled “Sleeping apps,” “Deep sleeping apps,” and “Never sleeping apps” in order to prevent this from happening.

The apps that need to be placed in each of these categories can be selected manually. Only infrequently will the “Sleeping apps” run in the background, and updates and notifications may be delayed. The so-called “Deep sleeping apps” will only use resources when you open them and never operate in the background. Finally, “Never sleeping apps” will always run in the background unless you forcefully close them, avoiding any restrictions that are placed on the other two settings. These apps will immediately provide you with notifications and updates.

Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Background usage limits to access these options. You also have the choice to put inactive apps to sleep in this section.
