Along with this, the company has also shared its future plans regarding expansion, availability, and more upcoming features. At the same time, Samsung unveiled striking new features of the One UI 5!
Customization
The One UI 4 adapted Android 12-like 4 Color Palette functionality, which is now expanded up to 16 preset color themes based on the user’s wallpaper and 12 more color options for their home screens, icons and quick panels to offer even more customization capability.
Stack Widgets
Stack Widgets is the second highlighting feature of the One UI 5 software which allows users to further customize their home screens by stacking widgets of the same size in a single location, as part of saving space and creating a cleaner, more organized look. Besides, here’s a new feature so you can block notifications from certain apps.
Easier access, per-app language
With the One UI 5, Samsung simplified the process of altering sound and vibration settings with reorganized menus, which offer easier access to all ringtone volumes and vibration intensities. Per-app notification has also been adapted from Android 13 so you can use the preferred language for their different apps.
Enhanced Camera
In addition to newly added features, the One UI 5 takes user experiences to a whole new level with enhanced camera capabilities and security resources, and additional accessibility tools such as a more responsive zoom bar.
With enhanced camera features, you can more seamlessly capture high-quality photos and video with a new icon in Pro and Pro Video mode that offers useful tips and tricks on how to use the various lenses, features and controls.
Privacy and security
Not that all, the Samsung One UI 5’s has a revamped dashboard that allows Galaxy users to view the security status of their phone, check whether there are security issues, as well as it provides you with recommendations to fix them.
Accessibility options
Derived from Android 13, the One UI 5 comes with more accessibility options to make it easier for users to interact with their devices. The Magnifier feature enables users to better view and read on their devices.
Moreover, different types of spoken assistance such as “audio descriptions of videos” and “speak keyboard input aloud” help users navigate and use devices more seamlessly. And that’s not all, check what Samsung said:
“Other exciting new features will be introduced throughout the Beta program to give you the best experience possible. Stay tuned!”
