Display
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphone equips a 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2x Infinity Flex display that is 7.6 inches. It comes with improved Ultra-Thin Glass to make the panel more invulnerable. The display supports 2176 x 1812 pixels resolution, 374 PPI pixel density, and HDR10+.
When folded, there’s a 6.2 inches AMOLED cover display with a punch hole for a selfie shooter. This display supports 2316 x 904 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Processor:
Under the hood, the device has a 4nm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset that is paired with 12GB RAM. The company is offering 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB internal storage options to choose from.
Software:
For the Galaxy Z Fold, the company has introduced a new version of its custom OS that is One UI 4.1.1. This new version is based on Android 12L, which is specially designed for foldable to let them use their large screen devices with ease.
With the One UI 4.1.1, the device gets new swipe gestures for easier multitasking, a new Taskbar layout, similar to what you get on a PC, for easy switching between recent apps, and much more.
Camera:
On the rear side, the device has triple cameras that include an OIS-assisted 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom. On the outer front, the device has a 10MP camera whereas, the inner side has a 4MP under-display camera to capture selfies.
Battery:
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 features a 4,400mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. Along with these, it also has a 15W wireless fast charging capacity.
Connectivity and other features:
The new device comes with eSIM support, a side-faced fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB-C, and AKG-tuned dual speakers. At the same time, the device supports S-Pen, however, this year too it misses the slot to hold it.

Samsung is offering three color options for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphone. These include Grey Green, Beige, and Phantom Black.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 price starts at $1,799. According to the official info, the company has started pre-bookings and it will be available to purchase from August 26.

Samsung launched Music Frame WICKED Edition in the UK. The company has also announced its partnership with Universal Pictures. The Limited Edition Music Frame is available in the UK through the official online store and select retail locations.
Music Frame is Samsung’s customizable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-enabled speaker designed to blend seamlessly into any environment. The special edition Music Frame brings three WICKED photo cards, including an exclusive image, and a unique WICKED bezel.

Samsung could pack the Galaxy Z Flip FE and Z Flip 7 with Exynos processors. The company could launch its first affordable foldable phone next year. The device could get a different camera and processor from the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Leaker Jukanlosreve revealed that Samsung could use the Exynos 2400e in the Galaxy Z Flip FE and Exynos 2500 in the Galaxy Z Flip 7. The former Exynos variant powers the Galaxy S24 FE, while the Exynos 2500 is an upcoming product.
Samsung previously intended to use Exynos 2500 in the Galaxy S25 series. However, the chip has a major performance difference from its Snapdragon counterpart. This led the company to solely rely on the Snapdragon 8 Elite for the S25 series.
Exynos 2500 is being manufactured using Samsung Foundry’s 3nm process node. The yield rate is quite low (around 20%), which is far from the production threshold. However, Samsung chose the path to produce the chip at such a low yield rate.
Exynos 2400 has proven to be a decent chip with no frustrating flaws. The Exynos 2400e could be used in the Z Flip FE. The “e” model could be made using IPoP (Integrated Package on Package) tech, which is cheaper than the standard method.
Recently, a Korean media outlet reported that Samsung Foundry has started mass production of a 3nm Exynos 2500 chip. It was initially intended to be used in the S25 and S25 Plus, but issues pushed it towards the second-half debut in the Z Flip 7.
