Samsung redesigning Call screen of One UI 5.0, choose yours

Samsung unveiled the first Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta for Galaxy S22 series a couple of weeks ago. There are a lot of new features however the user interface is not much modified over the One UI 4 version.

Meanwhile, a new report by a famous tipster suggests that the company is not done with the UI. The upcoming Samsung One UI 5.0 beta update will bring redesigned Call screen that has some interesting changes.

Currently, you see an old greenish-grey color background when someone calls you. However, you have the ability to change that background with some internal or external wallpapers or clips.

Meanwhile, the new Samsung One UI 5.0 Call screen interface is bringing some tweaks so you won’t have to set different backgrounds. Even that in-build background will change as per the picture of the caller, that’s amazing!

According to tipster Ice Universe, Samsung recently published a poll asking One UI 5.0 beta users to choose between different UI designs for the call screen. One of those designs completely fills the screen with colorful tints, while the other has some free space left.

The background of the interface’s color is similar to the primary color of the caller’s picture. However, none of those designs has an unsaved number, so it can’t be clarified what that interface will look like.

The tipster has said that the new change will appear in the upcoming One UI 5.0 beta version. However, there’s no information on when the next bets version will go live.

Currently, only Samsung Galaxy S22 series owners are able to test the beta version in select countries. It will shortly expand to more countries and the Galaxy S21 series is next in line to receive it.
