Google Pixel Launcher loses unified search with stable Android 13
Google released a Stable Android 13 update for Pixel devices with a bunch of new features. After updating the Android 13 build, users of Pixel devices facing issues related to its unified Pixel Launcher search.

According to the information, many users of Pixel 4a, 6, 6 Pro, and 6a smartphones are facing the issue of missing Pixel Launcher Search after the Android 13 update. This issue is occurring on phones we sideloaded the update manually or received OTA from beta 4.1 to stable.

After the update, you see the search bar at the top of the app grid is the same as the bottom of the home screen. The search field is no longer the same, as well as the “G” logo, microphone, and Google lens icon have disappeared from the app drawer.

However, Google is aware of this issue and will fix it with an upcoming update. As far as, this can be fixed with a server-side fix.
Android 13 beta users discovered a brief unified feature throughout the preview and after updating to the stable release. The new UI will automatically disappear after some time or after the device is restarted.
