Samsung cuts Galaxy Z Flip 3 trade-in credit by $200 on upgrading to Flip 4
US consumers are so lucky compared to other countries as they can upgrade to the next-gen smartphone by paying a minimal amount. At the time of launch, Samsung was bringing a $900 trade-in value for Galaxy Z Flip 3 when upgrading to the Z Flip 4, however, it’s now reduced by $200 in the US.
As spotted by our folks over at 9to5Google, Samsung dropped the trade-in value of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 to $700 in the US, which was initially $900. This change appears to happen within around 24 hours as the company mentioned different trade-in benefits for both 128GB and 256GB variants.

Initially, there was not any kind of storage option when trading in the Galaxy Z Flip 3 for upgrading to the Galaxy Z Flip 4. By trading in the Galaxy Z Flip 3 with “enhanced trade-in credits” of up to $900, the consumers were able to grab the next-gen Galaxy Z Flip 4 for just $99 cost.

As of now, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 owners can trade in their 128GB variant for $700, while the 256GB variant for $900. Meanwhile, a consumer confirmed 9to5Google that their order is still showing the full $900 credit on a 128GB trade-in. Hence, don’t waste time anymore and head towards the official site and upgrade to the next Galaxy.
