Alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, Samsung also launched the new Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro wearables with new features. New Samsung devices will start shipping to consumers beginning August 26, however, a new feature of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro just spotted that will send you reminders to stretch your neck.

Spotted by @milesabovetech, Samsung silently debuted a new wellness feature with the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro so the risk of stiffness in the neck, shoulders, and back can be reduced. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro can detect your head position and notify you when you’ve continuously bent your head for 10 minutes.

It usually happens that we start using our phones with keeping our entire focus on what we are doing: playing games or watching the content. In that case, we spend a long time with the straight neck, which causes issues like neck and back pain.

New Samsung ‘neck stretch reminders’ features will surely benefit consumers while wearing the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. It will monitor the activity through hardware installed inside and artificial intelligence, if you don’t bend your head for 10 minutes, it will notify you to do so.

Along with this, the screenshot of the feature’s detail page mentions a guide on how to stretch your neck so you can follow the earbuds’ notification in the right way.

As of now, Buds 2 Pro users can access the neck stretch feature through the Galaxy Wearable app, however, we are guessing that Samsung could expand its availability through firmware updates.
