[U: Aug. 29] Samsung delayed Android 13/One UI 5.0 Beta expansion in Asia
Update: Samsung has delayed the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta program for the Galaxy S22 series in China, yet again, and it’s now reportedly coming on Monday (Aug. 29). It’s worth mentioning that tipster IceUniverse has recently revealed that the Beta 2 release is delayed due to a bug in system animations.

Earlier this month, Samsung started the One UI 5.0 Beta testing program for the Galaxy S22 series, in order to let them test the new Android 13 operating system. So far, the company has expanded the One UI 5.0 Beta to just three countries out of a total of 7 including the US, South Korea, and Germany.
As reported on August 22, Samsung has postponed the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta testing program to August 25 for the Galaxy S22 series devices in China (Asia). It’s worth mentioning that the Beta program start timeline in India will likely be the same as in China.

Earlier, it was reported that the South Korean tech giant is set to start the One UI 5.0 Beta testing program in China on August 23, however, it’s not happening now in Asia. It means the Indian and Chinese Galaxy S22 consumers have to wait for a few more days.

In addition, the Community moderator recommended Galaxy S22 users upgrade the Samsung Members app to the latest version, which is the only way to join the One UI 5.0 Beta testing. Due to the internal test preparations, the One UI 5.0 Beta program has also been delayed.
In addition to the US, Germany and South Korea, Samsung promised to start the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta program in India, China, Poland and the UK. Recently, it was reported that the Galaxy S22 will soon get the One UI 5.0 Beta 2 with new icons for some native apps.
