Samsung launches Global Goals bands, watchfaces for Galaxy Watch 4/5 series
Way back in 2015, world leaders developed the UN Sustainable Development Goals, also known as the Global Goals in order to make the world a better place by 2030. Now, Samsung released new Global Goals bands and 2 watchfaces for the Galaxy Watch 4, Watch 4 Classic, Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro devices.
By releasing the new Global Goals watch accessories, Samsung represents one of the small, meaningful steps to achieve the collective goal. To be mentioned, the company launched its first-ever Global Goals band for Watch 4 and Watch 5 at the Unpacked event.

Samsung said that 5% of every Global Goals band purchased will be donated to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), advancing their global work in developing sustainable policies and building resilient institutions in more than 170 worldwide.
The new watch accessories are expected to be available in these countries:
- Belgium
- Denmark
- Finland
- France
- Germany
- Italy
- The Netherlands
- Norway
- Portugal
- South Korea
- Spain
- Sweden
- The United States
- The United Kingdom.
In addition to new bands for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series, Samsung has also released two new Global Goals watch faces for global users, which integrate with the Global Goals app. The new watch faces share thought-provoking quotes related to the Goals, allowing Galaxy users to easily learn more about the Global Goals.
Back in 2019, Samsung collaborated with UNDP to create the Global Goals app, which helps accelerate global progress by 2030. As of now, the Global Goals app is installed in more than 200 million Galaxy devices globally, which generates funding for the UNDP’s global initiatives.

Samsung launched specially designed Galaxy cases for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The company has imagined and designed a dedicated range of smartphone accessories to mark its partnership with the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Featuring the color of the 2024 Paris Olympics, the new Samsung cases display a clean and modern style of Art Deco. Samsung has offered accessories in a wide range of designs so users can proudly wear the colors of the 2024 Paris Olympics. The designs include:
- Paris 2024 logo or stylized Art Deco writing that evokes the Roaring Twenties
- Letter model which displays the words Paris 2024 and uses the colors of the Olympics and Paralympics
- Black silicone case with white Paris 2024 logo
Interestingly, the Olympic accessories are designed and packaged in France. They are capable of absorbing shock and protecting the back panel from scratches thanks to a rigid back and soft edges. Others are made of silicone or a self-healing, non-slip resin offering better resistance.
In addition to the cases, other essential accessories celebrating Paris 2024 are available. Samsung revealed that over 50 case models are available. At the same time, the collection is compatible with a very wide range of Galaxy smartphones, including:

Availability: The cases and derived products in the Paris 2024 colors are already available in France, including some on the Samsung website.
Soon after the debut of the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung launched an accessories line that has been crafted in collaboration with three European artists namely Ricardo Cavolo (Spain), Steven Wilson (UK), and Yeye Weller (Germany).
The accessories lineup for Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra comprises three types of cases. Since these accessories are equipped with NFC (near field communication) technology, they automatically display animations on the screen when attached.

Customers who purchase one of the accessories will also receive a matching Galaxy Watch 6 face as a special gift. The collection is exclusively available for purchase from January 17, starting with 16 countries and extending to more than 20 markets by January 26.
Building on the company’s previous collaboration with contemporary artists, this new line of accessories will further enable users to take advantage of Samsung’s cutting-edge technology while still expressing their sense of style with distinctive art.
