At present, Samsung is testing the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 software on the Galaxy S22 series devices. Earlier this month, the South Korean tech giant seeded the first One UI 5.0 Beta with new features and changes, however, the second Beta debuted an additional feature called “Smart Suggestions Widget.”

As mentioned in the One UI 5.0 Beta 2’s release notes, the Smart Suggestions Widget feature is a widget that suggests useful apps or features have been added. You can add Smart Suggestions Widget easily on your homescreen through a short guide mentioned below.

So finally, you’ve added the One UI 5.0’s Smart Suggestions Widget on your Galaxy phone’s homescreen. In case you are not seeing any app inside the widget area, firstly, you will be needing to enable the Smart Suggestions feature through the system Settings.

With the use of One UI 4.1’s Smart Suggestions feature, the One UI 5.0 software presents 8 apps inside the widget on your homescreen. If you tap and hold anywhere on the widget area, additional settings will appear, letting you create a Stack Widget and remove it as well.

It’s worth mentioning that you can’t select which apps will be shown in the Widget area as it wholly works on your activities and data gathered by Smart Suggestions. By default, the Smart Suggestions Widget manages a form factor of 4×2 apps, however, you can change it to 4×1 as well.
